We are a provincial organization and we encourage the use of French. VOP values innovation and helps the integration of the newcomers. The multicultural aspects of Vancouver encourage us to present more events intended to reach a large public with the goal to foster a link between communities and help the encounter of one another through culture.  

For 27 years, more than 5000 participants a year enjoyed taking part of the Film Festival, and 5000 kids from our School Matinées screenings for immersion classes. 

We have presented over a thousand films, lectures and workshops, exhibits since this adventure of creating a film festival in French in Vancouver began. This 27th Edition is dedicated to the memory of all those who oppose every form of discrimination to achieve greater social inclusion. An edition that aims to acknowledge human and cultural diversity and promote a society based on solidarity and living together.
